Our Copyright Policy

Circle Lab may remove or disable access to material when we receive a valid infringement notice or otherwise conclude that the material may violate copyright law, our Terms & Conditions, or another party’s rights.

The current browser game does not offer public user uploads or posting. This process nevertheless applies to text, images, software, links, or other material made available through the website.

Submitting an Infringement Notice

A copyright owner, or a person authorized to act for one, should provide a written notice containing all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If the notice covers multiple works on the site, provide a representative list.
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, along with information reasonably sufficient for Circle Lab to locate it, such as the exact page URL and a clear description.
4. Your name and information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you, including a mailing address, telephone number, and email address, if available.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Submitting a Counter-Notification

If material you provided was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened because of mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notification containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disablement.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. Federal District Court for your address—or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Circle Lab may be found—and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent.

Use the subject line DMCA Counter-Notification. We may send a copy to the person who submitted the original infringement notice.

What Happens After a Notice

Circle Lab may review the notice, request additional information, remove or disable access to the identified material, and notify the person responsible for the material where appropriate.

After receiving a valid counter-notification, Circle Lab may restore the material as permitted by law unless the original claimant informs us that a court action has been filed seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. Nothing in this policy requires Circle Lab to restore material that independently violates our terms or other applicable rules.

Repeat Infringement

In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, Circle Lab may restrict or terminate access by a person who repeatedly infringes copyrights or other intellectual property rights. Because the current browser game has no user accounts or upload system, available enforcement measures may include blocking submissions, disabling access to contributed material, or taking other technically reasonable action.
